Troy is the director of Word of Life Counseling Center and Word of Life Counseling Training Institute. He holds a Master's Degree in Psychology, Guidance and Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado, a Specialist Degree in Counseling with emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Wichita State University and a Ph. D. in Christian Counseling from LOGOS Graduate School. He is a Kansas State Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Clinic Addictions Counselor. Dr. Reiner has over 30 years of experience as a Marriage and Family Therapist, addictions counselor and pastor. He has published four books on the subject of Faith Therapy. Faith Therapy is derived directly from the Bible based on a psychological understanding of God's process of salvation by faith. He sees himself called by God to help as many people as possible find the abundant life through Christ.
Deanna is a state licensed Clinical Masters Level Social Worker and licensed Masters level addictions counselor. Over many years Deanna has counseled hundreds of clients at several inpatient and outpatient counseling programs in the Wichita area. She has an extremely wide range of experience counseling families and children. She deeply cares for her clients and is dedicated to their recovery.
Cierra has a Bachelors Degree from Newman University, a Masters Degree from Wichita State University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She had a wide range of experience in her counseling training practicums at Wise Clinic at WSU and Soma Therapy. She has worked at COMCARE as a children's case manager. She currently leading our anger management program and teaching parenting classes.
Although Linda is semi-retired she is still available to do parenting classes and Theophostic prayer ministry from her home.
Jeremy has a Bachelors Degree in social work from Wichita State University, a certification in Pastoral Counseling from Word of life Counseling Training Institute and is a graduate of Andrew Wommack's Charis Bible College. He and his wife Sarah lead the young adult ministry at Word of Life Church in Park City, Kansas. They have an in-depth understanding of the Bible and have a heart for reaching and discipling new converts.
Jane has been the Codependency Support Group leader at Word of Life Counseling Center since 1995. She has an experiential understanding of codependency based on her own progress in overcoming Codependency and hears from God for direction in leading this group. The group is currently using the work book Untangling Relationships by Pat Springle.
Nadine has lead this group for many years. She is a certified Christian lay counselor. Due to her experiences with family members who struggled with addictions she has a heart for those struggling with addictions. She is known for her dedication and consistently helping hurting people.
Lay counselors are certified counselors who are not ordained pastors who choose to offer their services free of charge.
Student counselors are those students enrolled in training at Word of life Counseling Training Institute to obtain a certification or degree in Christian counseling. They must have at least completed the first three courses--Faith Therapy, Effective Counseling and Coaching Skills and Transformation. For their practicum students must complete at least 30 hours of actual supervised counseling experience. Supervision is provided by licensed counselors.
Jennifer and her husband Marquis are the pastors of The Word of Life Church and Word of Life Counseling Center (South). Because they care deeply for struggling people they have initiated outreach ministries including free meals, clothing, a food bank, addiction recovery and a Christian counseling center that offers both low cost and free lay and student counseling for people in need.
In order to provide the very best in Christian counseling to help people, Jennifer is completing a certification in pastoral counseling from Word of Life Counseling Training Institute. Jennifer is a people person who really listens and will do anything possible to help you find God's abundant Life through Christ.
Milagros Toledo “Pastor Millie” is completing her certification in pastoral counseling from the Word of Life Counseling Training Institute. Millie’s main calling has been caring for and comforting patients physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Ever since childhood, Millie has naturally attracted the confidence of others. Millie has walked along with people in their pain and trauma, coaching through true forgiveness, sitting with the brokenhearted, assisting in their quest for inner healing, and finding their giftings and purpose in life.
Pastor Millie believes that we all need deliverance and inner healing. Pastor Millie has experience with the following: Sexual Abuse, Domestic Violence, Trauma, Anger Management, Loss & Grief, Anxiety & Depression, Deliverance, Times of Transition, Personal Growth, Identity, Giftings & Purpose, and Walking with Christ.
Teresa is the Director of Word of Life Counseling Center (South).
She is an ordained minister and certified health coach working on her Pastoral counseling certification at Word of Life Counseling Training Institute.
Teresa has over 30 years of experience working with a vast variety of individuals, family groups, high-risk youth in the foster system, deliverance, marriages, church and community groups. She relies on God’s presence and His words found in scripture as her foundational and primary source of wisdom and counseling.
Teresa has always been passionate about helping people to achieve all that God has called them to do. She is very nurturing and empathetic with others as they seek to find their way in life. She emphasizes each individual’s walk with God as the ultimate help and problem solving of all pertaining to life.
Erin is a student counselor and life coach at Word of Life Counseling Training Institute. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of California, Irvine, years of corporate experience, owning her own business, living cross-culturally and providing holistic nutrition counseling.
As a Christian counselor trained in Faith Therapy she sees herself as an assistant to the Holy Spirit who has promised that He will never leave you, fail you, or forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6, Hebrews 13:5). Erin believes in providing clients with "homework," as we are called to be doers of the Word and not just hearers (James 1:22). She views healing as centered on a client’s personal relationship with Christ, with the counselor serving as an instrument of the Holy Spirit. Whether counseling or coaching, Erin takes a partnership approach to recovery and growth.

Byron Davis is an elder at Word of Life Church (South), student counselor and the leader of the Addiction Recovery Program. Byron wants to see God move in his life to help others that struggle in life learn how to trust God to help them find strength and hope.
Belinda is an elder at Word of Life Church (South), and a student counselor completing her certification as a pastoral counselor. Belinda likes to yield to the Holy Spirit for her direction in counseling knowing that if we will know and receive the truth it will set her clients free.
Phil has already completed most of the courses required for certification. He cares deeply for people struggling in life and will do what he can to help them really find and achieve the abundant life Jesus provided for us.
Sandy is a Master's level Registered nurse with many years of experience in a wide range of nursing and administration positions. She is specifically responsible for our Kansas State Licensed Drug and Alcohol Outpatient Clinic as well as the total functionality of the entire counseling center. Sandy is a dedicated Christian who really cares deeply for each client and does whatever is necessary to help them.
Donna focuses on welcoming new clients, making new appointments, calling to remind you of upcoming appointments, and doing the initial paper requirements. She really cares for people so feel free to ask her any questions you may have. If she cannot answer your question she will refer you to someone who can.
Cheri is our most experienced insurance and billing administrator. She has had many years of experience doing medical health insurance billing and credentialing. Since this field of work continues to become more complicated and is constantly changing, she is a critical member of our team.
Carolee is a student at Word of Life Counseling Training Institute who also volunteers to help administratively in the counseling center in anyway she can. She is a real blessing as part of our staff.
