Troy Reiner, Center Director, MA, Ed.S, Ph.D. in Christian Counseling

Troy is the director of Word of Life Counseling Center and Word of Life Counseling Training Institute. He holds a Master's Degree in Psychology, Guidance and Counseling from the University of  Northern Colorado, a Specialist Degree in Counseling with emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Wichita State University and a Ph. D. in Christian Counseling from LOGOS Graduate School.  He is a Kansas State Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) and Licensed Clinic Addictions Counselor (LCAC).  Dr. Reiner has over 30 years of experience as a Marriage and Family Therapist, addictions counselor and pastor.  He has published four books on the subject of Faith Therapy.  Faith Therapy is derived directly from the Bible based on a psychological understanding of God's process of salvation by faith.  He sees himself called by God to help as many people as possible to find the abundant life through Christ.

With over 30 years of experience as a marriage and family therapist and an addictions counselor in both inpatient and outpatient settings, John brings a wealth of wisdom, empathy, and practical guidance to this practice. He is a warm and caring professional who is genuinely invested in helping people from all walks of life move forward with clarity and hope. As a mature Christian, John’s work is grounded in a foundation of faith and integrity. He views his role as a calling to serve others with grace, providing a safe space where clients feel truly heard. Marilyn Roberts, LMSW Relationship Counselor

Marilyn has two Master's Degrees from Newman University in social work and psychology.  She has two bachelor's degrees, one in psychology from Newman University and another in Christian Leadership from Tabor College.  Her counseling experience includes grief counseling, bullying, suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety, domestic violence, PTSD, court mediation and sexual offender treatment.  She is currently completing a Ph. D with Liberty University.  Marilyn is a licensed Minister with the Congregational Full Gospel International.  One of her favorite Bible verses is Jerimiah 29:11, "The Lord declares that He has plans for you, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Cierra Schweitzer LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) teaches Parenting Classes and Leads the Anger Management Groups

Cierra has a Bachelors Degree from Newman University, a Masters Degree from Wichita State University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.   She had a wide range of experience in her counseling training practicums at Wise Clinic at WSU and Soma Therapy.  She has worked at COMCARE as a children's case manager.  She currently leading our anger management program and teaching parenting classes.

Sandy is a Master's level Registered nurse with many years of experience in a wide range of nursing and administration positions.  She is specifically responsible for our Kansas State Licensed Drug and Alcohol Outpatient Clinic as well as the total functionality of the entire  counseling center.   Sandy is a dedicated Christian who really cares deeply for each client and does whatever is necessary to help them.

Stephanie Craft is the Receptionist and Administrative Assistant at Word of Life Counseling Center (North)

Stephanie focuses on welcoming new clients, making new appointments, calling to remind you of upcoming appointments, and doing the initial paper requirements.  She really cares for people so feel free to ask her any questions you may have.  If she cannot answer your question she will refer you to someone who can. 

Ambrosia Johnson, Insurance Coordinator
